Rethinking Marxism

In 1991 I was invited, along with the artist May Stevens, by members of the editorial board of Rethinking Marxism to organize an exhibition and symposium for the International conference “Marxism and the New World Order: Crises and Possibilities” (see exhibition catalog This is my body:this is my blood). I was subsequently invited to become the arts editor for the journal and served in this position from 1993-2014. As a member of the editorial board and arts editor, I organized panels, film screenings, and curated exhibitions for Rethinking Marxism’s international conferences.
